A Better Way To Make TV Music

Billy Jay Stein and Michael A. Rosen have worked in the entertainment industry most of their lives. The duo met at VH1 in the late ‘90s, Michael overseeing program development and Billy composing for the channel. Over the years they collaborated on dozens of projects, released an album together, and shared a desire to raise the bar in the production music industry. The two launched Strike Audio in 2007.

Billy Jay Stein

Grammy winning producer, composer, and musician Billy Jay Stein has written and produced thousands of cues for TV and film and written for and played on albums for most major labels. He has worked as electronic music designer, keyboardist and/or conductor for multiple Broadway musicals, most notably "Spiderman," on which he worked closely with Bono and The Edge. Most recently, he produced and mixed the soundtrack to Carole King’s hit Broadway musical, “Beautiful.” Currently, he tours with Linda Eder as music supervisor and pianist. Billy lives on Manhattan’s Upper East Side with his wife, two daughters, two dogs, and cat.

Michael A. Rosen

Emmy nominated Michael A. Rosen's extensive TV experience has spanned both the creative and business sides of the industry. He began his career as a writer, later working as a director and showrunner. Michael has developed and executive produced the production of hundreds of hours of television in almost every genre, on networks including MTV, VH1, A&E, History, Animal Planet, ABC, Nat Geo, Comedy Central, Lifetime and more. An accomplished songwriter and lyricist, Michael lives on Manhattan's Upper West Side with his wife, his young son, and dog.
